Co-operation between Vodokanal and LSBP to consult and have action to achieve Reach level in laboratory of Vodokanal

* REACH is the new EU chemicals directive adopted in EU in 2007. The aim of the REACH directive is to reduce impacts of chemicals on the environment and human health by increasing knowledge about safety use of chemicals and to improve chemicals risk assessment. REACH also restricts the use of the most harmful chemicals and promotes finding safety substitutes.
* Concrete co-operation/action (present situation, used chemicals, analyzers, how to achieve requirements of REACH and become Reache level laboratory, future situation) lead by LSBP with associate partners / cluster member companies to achieve REACH level in the laboratory of Vodokanal St. Peterburg in order to reduce impacts of chemicals in the Baltic Sea.
* Consultancy work to benchmark the current level of Vodokanal laboratory and to prepare the REACH implementation plan.
* SWOT for adopting REACH level requirements in Vodokanal laboratory
