PART2: Commitment information

Uniart- jewellery pro the Baltic Sea
Contribution
The Finnish marketing chain for design work, www.uniart.fi wishes to take part in the conversation concerning the state of the Baltic Sea by means of a silver jewellery necklace. We hope that this piece of jewellery raises questions and conversation whenever seen to be kept by her owner.

The necklace called BEYOND reflects air bubbles under the surface of the sea. Oxygen is an essential condition for life. You may also find other submarine elements from the necklace. The surface circles are like thought bubbles; a thinking person has a standpoint to the state of the environment.

Every bought piece of jewellery brings 4 euros to BSAG.

Milestones

To start the production

Informing and raising conversation.

We are happy to tell you that the production of the “silver informer” pro the Baltic Sea has started. When writing this in July 2010 over 20 people are carrying the silver necklace “Beyond” to show their support and to raise interest in common conversations. When seeing somebody carrying the Beyond it usually raises questions like “May I ask where your necklace originates from? It is lovely and really extraordinary. Is there a story behind it?”

Every piece of jewellery is supplied with a small card explaining the meaning of it. The card also includes the running number of the piece in question.
100 users, 2.000 interested
2010 December 31th
The next milestone is to design and produce jewellery for men, as this did not succeed although the original Beyond was meant for men, too. The next milestone also includes that 100 people are wearing the Beyond pro Baltic Sea. This means that if one person discusses on average with 20 people due to the Beyond, the message has immediately been forwarded to 2.000 people.
